PVC Cement Guaranteed Best Construction Material Philippines’ Prices

The product is officially known as “PVC glue,” while other names for it include “PVC cement” and “solvent cement.” There are solvent cements available for a variety of pipe types, including CPVC, but they work best when applied to the same kind of material.

For PVC pipe fittings, PVC cement is used, and for ABS pipe fittings, ABS cement. Undoubtedly, this is one of the most important procedures in the solvent welding procedure. The pipe and fitting cannot chemically fuse together if the cement and pipe material are incompatible, which results in joint failure.

Holding the pipes together after joining them is necessary for at least 30 seconds to allow the cement to set. The joint needs another 15 minutes to fully harden before it can resist water pressure, and another two hours to cure completely.

Also, the joint surface is in great condition to be reglued immediately after removing a broken section of pipe from a fitting because it is clean and warm and will receive the new primer and new glue better than it did on its original joint.

It is also approved to use with potable water system pipelines, sewer drain and water waste system, vent systems and even industrial and irrigation pipeline application.

PVC Cements comes from various sizes but the most commonly used are the 100 cc size or the smallest size commercially available.
