BI sheet, also known as iron plate, is an untreated sheet of metal that rusts very easily and at varying rates depending on the external climate. The surface of the sheet plate is treated (for example, powder coated) to prevent corrosion, typically using an epoxy-polyester mixture. Heavy metals and aromatic solvents are not used in the coating process.
Because of their longevity and resistance to corrosion, B.I. Sheets, which are made of copper (sheet metal) and aluminum (base metal), can be used as metal blades on any construction project. It is mostly used for thermometers, electrical equipment, and fire alarms.
