What is Blind Rivet?
Blind rivet, often called break stem rivets, are mandrel-through tubular fasteners.
Blind rivets are placed into pre-drilled holes, and the mandrel is pulled through the rivet’s body using a specialized tool.
The mandrel snaps off when the blind end enlarges.
Blind rivets are “blind” to the opposing side because they may only be inserted into joints from one side of the component, unlike solid rivets.
What are the other names of Blind Rivet?
Pop rivets and pop riveters are other names for blind rivets and blind riveting pliers.
